Hi everyone,

I am the happy owner of a Spicy Curry long tail bike from Yuba (and many regular bicycles).
I got that bike in 2017 (for my 40th birthday) and love going around town (and beyond) with my 2 kids.

My original positioning on electric bike was that "I am too young for that cheat". But since owning one I changed my mind: I can just do even crazier things now. Like carrying 4 kids, doing a full Costco run, going over ANY hill in SF (with kids on the bike) and be the pride of my kids at school (until the other parents realize there is an engine on my bicycle...).
When I have a choice between driving and bicycling I now always pick bicycling. Except if the weather is REALLY bad (rare in SF), air is smoky (more frequent those days in SF) or my wife wants to tag along (I did carry her when the kids were smaller).

In short electric and cargo bikes are fantastic!

If you live in S.F., you´re never ´too young to cheat´especially on the hills, & it don´t hurt to have a little bit of an edge in traffic.
( slight though it might be )

Hi from a bodaboda owner & welcome to low energy transport. No kids so I like 2 big wheels for bad pavement. I shop everywhere, & carry food & lawn supplies to my summer camp 27 miles out. Since the "gasoline" became useless in my car, I don't drive anymore.
