Hi, I have been researching e bikes for a year now. So far I have narrowed the choices to the Trek Verve +3. I am looking for a bike which will allow me to cycle on the floor of the valley and then climb up some long hills to my home on the south slope.

It's too bad that ebike doesn't come with the latest generation (4) Bosch motor (lighter and more torque)
I'd also recommend you test ride the Giant Fastroad E+ EX Pro.
Same price as the Trek, with a nice Yamaha motor, but I think the 325W battery is on the small size.

Whatever bike you buy make sure you test ride it up some hills, if possible.

Two other ebike brands that will give you the torque you need up those hills are Dost and Biktrix.
