Been reading the forums for many months and this past December bought me a Stromer ST1X.
Before I decided on the Stromer I probably tried 30 different bikes over a month period. One day I was in a shop in Louisville Co. On that particular day I had my son with me and he suggested I try the Stromer. I did not want to spend that much on a bike. It was way out of my budget. He talked me into trying it out because it look so cool.
Since that day I have been riding my Stromer with a big smile on my face. Out of all the bikes I tried nothing felt as solid as a Stromer. IMG_0434.jpg

I'm so glad you are happy with your bike. Since you had tried so many, you could really tell the difference in quality, and now you get to enjoy that quality every day!

Great looking bike! If you want, you can use your bike pic as your avatar here. :) Welcome to the forum!

Hi, what is the length of the Cirrus seat post you have? 350 or 420 mm? Thanks!

You're Stromer looks great! Also love the stealthiness.
I considered them also when it was my time to buy last year. Just too much money though. Could not justify it. That seems to be the common theme. How much to spend, especially when breaking into this new world of Ebikes? Fortunately there are many alternatives. Different strokes...

Im curious where that photo was taken, not alot of bodies of water that big here in CO.

I first rode a Stromer in the Fall of 2017 ( at ebikes of CO in louisville). Out of all the bikes they had at that time(mostly throttle only), the stromer rode the best and convinced me that torque based pedal assist was they way I wanted to go. I had never ridden an ebike before that. Im much more offroad focused but LOVED the stromer.

I have since bought a Bulls eMTB from small planet ebikes in Longmont and Juiced CCX from online. I was at ebikes of CO a few months ago and tried many of their haibikes, randy kept trying to get me on an orange ST1X stromer(probably yours) but I refused. perhaps I will try one come tax refund time. Would be interesting to see how it rides now that I have about 3k ebike miles under my belt

The photo was taken at Barr Lake. The lake is not that big. I love the ride around that lake, it is 8.8 mile trail that circles the lake passing by several wildlife viewing stations and the park's wildlife refuge. More than 350 species of birds have been spotted in the park. Numerous Bald Eagles winter at Barr Lake and one pair stays to nest and raise its young every year. It is the best place in the state for bird watching.
