Handlebar mountings

I now have over 1200 miles on my Level, trouble free. I added a “ Body Float” (now called ‘Kinetic’ or something like that). And, recently cork ergonomic handlebar grips. These items make the bike near perfect for me, and I recommend them. My only remaining issue is mounting my light, horn, and phone holder. I was not happy with the device purchased from Aventon for mounting the phone. I was thinking of having a device bar welded to the handlebar. Does anyone have an alternative solution?

Before welding anything to your bars, I would look at one of these clamp on products:

Better yet, consider replacing the handlebars with a set that has a cross bar built in.

Tried and failed. They didn’t last. I may have contributed to their early demise by putting my light on the same bar with the phone; too much weight.

I don't know how difficult it is to replace the handlebars on your bike but that would be your next best option. Unless the welding is done by an expert, it could have undesirable consequences. In my case, I swapped my OEM bars with Jones H bars that have a built in crossbar:

There are many other types available as well.
