Growing impatient

Pre-ordered my Juggernaut Classic 8/14

Initially, delivery was said to be end of August
They pushed it back to mid Sept.

It's been 37 days and no sign of delivery!

I grow impatient!

Started shipping them last week as promised. Should have all bikes out this coming week!

In their, defense I got with Biktrix yesterday and it's going to ship today. Very responsive company, I was just getting tired of waiting nearly 40 days.
It's all good.

So what did Roshan have to say? This is not unusual when buying from OEM direct to consumer bikes. You bought it because it had great specs at a lower than LBS price point. Ask Biktrix rather than besmirch their good name. These F-ing tariffs are making life hell for resellers.
How is stating the facts besmirching their good name?
Original pre-order said End of August delivery date.
I understood the whole pre-order thing. I was obviously willing to wait for the bike to come in, but 40 days was my limit.
This is EXACTLY why I despise these posts. It started with a post sounding like a vendor had dropped the ball. WHY NOT CALL THE VENDOR BEFORE POSTING A NEGATIVE COMMENT?

(Pre-order; Delivery last week of August)

Bike shipped today. Is this dropping the ball? Only you can decide!
Just stating the facts.

UGH..
Now DHL won't release my bike for shipping because it "failed an inspection"! It's been sitting in Canada since last Friday.
DHL said something with the battery!

And Roshan replied?
No one has EVER reached out to me from BikTrix about a problem UNLESS I have initiated the conversation.

I'm not the first person to be unhappy with orders from BikTrix, there is another thread in here about it. Search it up.

Looks like your shipment is hitting the jackpot of snags. All our other shipments went smooth except yours. We're working closely with dhl to figure out what's going on. You'll hear from us today once we know more. Dhl takes 24-48h to investigate. Appreciate your patience.

Ps: the packaging issue is a generic note dhl makes for any stuck shipments.

BTW posted problems are seldom an accurate representation of the sellers service level. In this case you’ve bought from someone that has sold hundreds, if not thousands of bikes. I’ve been watching Biktrix since his first months in business. Sadly you had a difficult time, but it in no way accurately portrays Roshan’s level of customer care. And suggesting there is a pattern by pointing to another issue is just plain unfair.

I have no business interests or money invested with Roshan.

Its sad that customers use forums when direct communication would had made this completely without merit.

Are you carrying baggage from your days answering support email and calls? As a reseller?

See your post in this forum:

I've had mine since they were introduced. Fantastic. That said, a correct voltage reading at the charger output doesn't always mean the charger is working. Sadly I'm not savvy enough electronically, but have seen this happen several times in 5 years of answering support email and calls.

I have cheap charger from Aliexpress for 100% backups. ($10 a pop) I had Luna chargers and they were nothing worth spending money on. Short lived and many failed components.

The beauty of the Satiator is the ability to charge at several voltage levels as well as being programmable. I charge 24v, 36v, 48v, and 52v ALL on a single charger. I have settings for 50%, 80%,90%, and 100% I can also vary the charge rate. I bought it before becoming a reseller and wouldn't hesitate to pay MSRP again.

I agree with Tom! When taking advantage of the positives of dealing with a direct to consumer supplier we have to accept the disadvantages as well and this includes the unreliability of Chinese suppliers whose supply/shipping schedule changes like the wind. Two other direct to consumer eBike suppliers with a LOT worse record than Biktrix are Voltbike and Juiced yet these companies are thriving and supply great products. If someone can't tolerate a changing shipping/supply/service schedule they should stay away from direct to consumer suppliers and lose out on the cost savings they offer.

So you both are ok with these companies doing these pre-order/pre-sale things were they have no inventory for said bike.

They collect your money in advance and throw it in a pot.
When they have enough orders to pay for a shipping container they order.
If it takes longer to fill up the pot they just keep pushing the delivery date back.
Then they order and if the Chinese shipper has problems they push the date back again.

There aren't a lot of successful business models where companies take $2000 in advance and then make you wait 40-50-60 days to deliver the product.

Just look at the Discussion by Brand forum! How many of these companies are there! LOTS because you don't have to have any inventory and for some reason a certain percentage of the Ebike buying community is OK with floating these companies a $2000, $3000 interest free loan.

Well this wonderful experience continues! The bike is still in Canada and has failed the customs inspection three times!

No, your case is an exception and shouldn't happen but you knew the risk was there before you purchased. Read back on this and any of the forums you mentioned and there's been some horrible experiences. I've only purchased when the item has been in stock. The shipping isn't Roshan's fault.

No bike yet.

It is in DHL hell! It has bounced back and forth between Milwaukee and Cincinnati!

No estimated delivery date!

No movement!

No delivery date!

It has been sitting in Cincinatti since Thursday with no updates.
