Be aware of performing any update to the bike controller.
I own 2 Giant e-bikes. When we want to connect the app to the bike, we have to perform any controller update prior to use it. On my Quick E+ it took 5 times before updating successfully. But on my wife’s Amiti E+, the app stated 100% update success, then the controller has to shut off and reboot, but it has never rebooted. No power. No lights. Nothing. The update killed the controller (RideControl Ergo). Now i have to spend 110$+taxes to get my wife’s bike to life.
