First ride on my new Riese Muller

Finally got the call after waiting nearly 2 months. Went for my first ride and it was a blast. Everything works as it should. Glad that the hydraulic brakes are big and sturdy. You end up at the top of some pretty good hills (now that you have assist) and you really build up a lot of speed coming down.

Here are a few pics.

Congratulation on your new ride.
I limit my downhill speed due to the threat of deer crossing. I don't suppose deer crossing are a big problem in Los Angeles Country. We get them even on 3rd street in downtown Louisville.

NIce pics ! Your mission (should you chose to accept Mr Phelps ) is to put 7500 miles on it in 2019.

Yes, the need for >20mph motors escapes me. Thank goodness for the beefy hydraulic brakes. Coming down some of these hills, you hit 30mph, and I only do it when everything is wide open clear.

7500 miles? That's over 20 miles a day! I wish!

The hub is the 380SE. Gear changes are effortless and seamless. You need to just pause a sec on the cranks while shifting. It becomes second nature.
