Evelo Dash folding bike

Looking for information/reviews on this bike. It seems to be on the lighter side for a multi terrain folding ebike. Does anyone have any experience with it? It has a lot of nice features, but it is also not a cheap folding bike. It seems to also have the smallest motor and battery? Is it going to provide enough power and range, as it doesn’t seem to have any battery upgrade available. We would be taking it with us in/on our RV and riding mostly in the west with plenty of elevation changes.

is there something else I should be looking at?

thanks in advance

This bike? It weighs 43.0 lbs, definitely not the lightest folding bike.
Yes that is the bike I was interested in. Several of the other fat tire folding bikes were in excess of 60 pounds. I realize there are other street type bikes, but I was looking for something that could do some light trails only and thought the dash may work. I just haven’t found much information on it, except from the manufacture. Thanks for your response

So are you looking for a fat bike?

Why do you need a lightweight folding bike? I'm assuming you need to carry upstairs or something?
Lightweight is not critical, but I certainly don’t think is a bad feature. I am considering the fat tire type as well. Specifically, I was hoping to get information on the dash other than what the company is providing, which seems to be limited.

thanks and I’m sorry I was not clear in my initial post.

Ah I see.

I don't think you will find info on the Dash anywhere, I just went on the Evelo website and it said, "Your Evelo Dash Folding Bicycle is almost here, shipping directly to you next month! "

So looks like the Dash is their brand new model.

Thanks, I just spoke with Evelo and they haven’t started distribution of this bike, which explains the lake of reviews and information.
thanks again and I’m sorry I did not realize it is a brand new model, I just thought is was out of stock, resulting in the late shipping note.

have considered this bike and may get one sometime next year
think it has some great attributes but is pricey

think the weight for this size tire, igh, belt drive and hopefully a decent amount of power is good

i would need a second battery which ups the price even more

that being said evelo has a great reputation

please post back with your observations if you end up getting one

the motor is new and i am waiting to see how the reviews are on it
