Eurobike August 27th-30th

I know this forum is primarily a US thing, but I think it would be helpful to reference Eurobike as it's a mega center for ebike stuff and they usually get everything before we do. I'll be attending for the first time this year and needless to say I am excited. I was in Germany before back in my military days, but I'm sure this experience will trump that

If you guys have anything you want me to get details on let me know and I'll do my best. I'll do my best to share some of the exciting stuff here and more importantly I hope to make some good connections over there to bring more exciting stuff across the pond.

Thanks Court! I'm gonna do my best to update the forum, but it might take me a bit. We have Eurobike and then Interbike a week later. I just learned Haibike is gonna give me a bike to borrow while I'm over there so I'm stoked! I hope that we can go together next year. I'm sure it's a worthwhile trip.

Many thanks for the kind offer Chris. I'm driving down through France to Switzerland on the 25th July and back up again on the 09th August. Annoyingly it would have only meant a 150mile detour for me. I look forward to hearing about how you get on though, and perhaps I can add it to my list for next year.

It certainly looks a lovey part of Germany though.

I need to get my backside into gear and find an e-mtb to ride in Switzerland. I already have a few planned routes to ride, and if nothing else, I'll be hiring a pedal only mtb.

I'm staying at the bottom of this valley, and have walked up and down this trail many times over the years, but never ridden it. It's now on my bucket list to ride it as well.

There are two parts to this.

Not to be boring, but I'd be interested if there is any information of e-bike penetration in Europe by country, primary use, and any trends either in hardware (performance) or the marketing of e-bikes. Have a good time.

Eddie, turns out I'll be in Germany from the 8-11th as well. I'm going to Derby week which I'm stoked about. I think they have my schedule all booked out, as they're footing the bill. But if you'll be in the area let me know. It'd be cool to meet in person.
