I have just bought this bike second hand from a Canadian guy living in Dublin

I was looking to get spare parts like spokes

Is there something wrong with the spokes? Do you expect to break them? I'm sure that any good bike shop would be able to supply spokes in the right size for you.

I'd be much more concerned about being able to get replacement parts for the motor, battery, etc.

The spokes are 2.5 mm and 250 mm long two broke as I was riding along

Also as I’m riding along I find the motor is being slowed like the brake is engaged a little jerky at times in standard power

I don't think spokes should be breaking... I wonder if the spoke tension was properly set or if they could be too tight. Do you have a good bike shop you can get to that might be able to check that?

What is the motor unit? Have you looked to see if there's a specific forum here for the bike and/or motor unit? Maybe someone there can offer suggestions. Do you know how old the bike is? What year model is it?

I hope you can get it sorted out.
