Hi,
a lot of bikes these days are advertised as a s-pedelec which can go around 45 km/h. Yet when You look at their chainring You often see numbers like 38T. I find this quite silly to be honest. Even on Specialized Turbo X with 48T chainring You have to pedal really fast to maintains such speed. So the question is: can we really comfortably travel at speeds like 45-50 km/h on today ebikes (and if so, on which exactly?) or is this only a marketing gimmick?
