Here is a picture of an earlier version which I have used for the last four years with 4600km on it and still going. It is made old bike parts and aluminum
profiles bolted together. It is very stable and has excellent maneuverability, with the handlebar at 70 deg and front wheel drive it almost turns on the spot.
It is a little shorter and lighter than the etrikes I posted earlier this week. The cargo area is a bit smaller but can hold two shopping bags.

I started out with a 350 W front wheel drive only and the pedals driving the rear right wheel only with an intermediate shaft (not shown). Then I switched to two
350W rear wheel drives also with pedals driving the rear right wheel.Eventually I eliminated the chain drive and installed an adjustable bake system so the
pedals work like an exercise bike.I also added another drive so all wheels are motorized wth 350 W each .Now it is a hybrid.

You can see on the picture of the handlebar, one throttle on the left for the left rear wheel and two throttles on the right, one for the right rear wheel and one for
the front wheel. Also visible are the three LCD's where the individual power assist levels can be adjusted and the battery levels of each battery can be viewed.
