E-Bike Used In Drive Thru Bank Heist

I got a chuckle from this local news report last night and thought I'd share. Not many details but it appears a man pulled into a bank drive thru on his e-bike, showed the teller a knife and gave her a note . It isn't clear why but the teller gave the crook money before he fled on the bike. I'm not sure why the teller felt threatened by someone with a knife since she was behind bulletproof glass! Anyway, the thief was well known by bank employees and was arrested soon after. Just another file for the stupid crook folder.

My wife worked at a bank 30 years ago and even then all you needed was a note to rob a bank. The employee will get fired if they don't turn over the money. Sad
