I want to get the nyon but since I have purion I need my shop to do the wiring and I don't know if they would install the nyon. so if I have them install a intuiva and tewll them I will be buying a kiox later.

Do the Intuvia and Kiox have the same mount?
Quick Answer: No.

You can upgrade from Intuvia to Nyon but consider this option carefully after receiving advice from your dealer and those on this forum who have followed that route.

It is best to regard Purion, Kiox and Intuvia as separate systems. (I have Purion on my Trek Powerfly and Kiox on my R&M Homage.)

Can I change from the Kiox to the Intuiva myself or does that need my dealer to do?
Dealer. Definitely!
  • Plan A : Purion
  • Plan B1 : Intuvia
  • Plan B2 : Nyon
  • Plan C : Kiox
If you want to swap to Intuvia, there is no point in going via Kiox.

These computers/controllers are all compatible with Bosch motors and batteries but they are not necessarily compatible with one another.

On my Trek Powerfly I have kept my Purion and use a smartphone (Ride with GPS on my iPhone 4) and/or a regular bike computer (Wahoo) alongside it.

I am debating on if the kiox will do it for me if not can I change over to the nyon myself from the kiox? I may drop by the store and see the kiox in person tonight. but the smartphone hub is now a couple months off and I dont know if I really want my phone on my bike.

I think the SmartphoneHub is only for the latest Bosch motors. Again, an expensive dealer-only option.

With the SmartphoneHub, it is optional whether your smartphone is on your handlebar.

My experience with the SmartphoneHub is limited: one ride on an R&M Superdelite Mountain (I'm smitten!).

it works with third gen. its not out yet anotehr two months it was supposed to be out this month. but can I change between the displays if the wiring is installed or does the kiox and intuvia use different wiring?

looks like I cant even buy a kiox at all saw one used one on eBay. s oI guess. I will just wait for the smartphone hub.

Or you could wait longer for the new Nyon due to release later this year (apparently), but have no idea about that mount nor motor compatibility :)
