hello guys , just wondering if all the people who ordered the first fifty montecapros from biketrix have received them ??
i was one of the first few to have ordered them (late feb early march ) and was promised delivery in june july , all i received from the company was an e mail stating that a batch of bikes was damaged in transport and my bike was one of them and then no other communication despite having sent them reminders
just wondering if there is anyone else who has suffered because of this

He received it, check his thread history. He also just kind of came on the forum to complain about a delay in the delivery, which wasn't as big a deal as it was made out to be in the end for what it's worth. Doubt you'll get a response from then.

OK thanks, What is your opinion on the Montecapro. I am a 57 yr old 180lb rider out in So. Cal. I ride rough steep rocky terrain. I rented a Trek powerfly 9 for a day and got the e bike bug.. I had no complaints after 20 miles. Except that i was tired and hungry. I know the two bikes are like apples and oranges. I just don't want to break it first day. I am not hardcore jumping and stuff . But i do get dirty. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hey BRob , my experience with the montecapro has been amazing , yes there was a slight delay in delivery but that worked out quite well for me as I ended up receiving the new version of the bike which looks way better .
Ive done about 750 kms in it so far and its held up to all kinds of abuse and hasn't needed anything except regular suspension pressure checks(maintain at 190-200psi) and gear and chain cleaning(muc-off dry lube) . It looks way better that anything you see on the road regularly and the pedal assist works flawlessly . the power levels give you control of the range and battery life . I usually get more that 60 kms on power level 2 and level 5 at low gear is good for the steepest climbs . overall its a solid bike with amazing value for money.

Thanks S.D I was wondering if the forks are air adjustable?

nope they are not ... but travel is good enough for moderate terrain. and you can lock them out if ur going uphill.
