Decisions Decisions

I've been "sleeping on it" for the past week, still having a hard time making a decision on an electric bike. It's going to be a fat tire bike for the beach and trails and simple cruising (East/Central Florida) and I've narrowed it down to Radrover, M2S All Terrain Kush, Voltbike Yukon 750 ... and they're running a sale nearby on the Pedego Trail Tracker & Haibike Xduro FatSix. The last two are a little over budget but I may be able to get a deal.
Any recommendations? I feel like I've learned so much on this site but having a hard time pulling the trigger. I like the throttle only option but it's not a game changer. Thanks!

Biktrix also sells some nice fatbike cruisers. If you're like me, the more time I took to decide, the more I convinced myself to up my budget. Expensive delay :)

Yeah, the Biktrix Juggernaut's a nice ride... can't remember why it didn't make my top 5. Yup, there's a fine line between doing your due diligence and obsessing over details, some are rather insignificant. I did end up spending more than I had anticipated, so you're spot on! Got the Pedego Trail Tracker, local E Bike shop gave me a super deal, picking her up in 10 days. Now I can rest :)

Personally I'd go for a FullFat Six and possibly engineer an alternative Yamaha battery because for this beast you really want DualBattery and guess what, Yamaha does not do it.

Came down to the FullFat Six and the Trail Tracker, throttle only option sealed the deal. Well, I pick my Pedego up in 10 days, put down a deposit, could change my mind.......again:D

Well, I'm only going to say that the Pedego has 4" tires and no suspension whatsoever. But if you insist on throttle...

Yeah, I hear ya ... that Xduro Full Fatsix is a beast, full suspension, but I'll be mostly on the beach, flat trails and cruising around on it. Had I been in the hills or mountains, would have gone FullFat.

@Chet, fat tires can actually make up a lot for a lack of suspension; particularly with smoother beach riding where you're going to be dropping the tire pressure a bit to have good handling. Looking forward to hearing about your new ride once it arrives :)

Thanks Ann, can’t wait for it to arrive, will definitely remember to drop tire pressure before beach cruising and will update my experience with the Trail Tracker periodically on this forum...which I’m finding incredibly useful.

I’m a huge fan of Haibike. Simple decision for the butter smooth Bosch!
Hey Rich, looks like the Haibike Sduro Fatsix 6.0 (full susp) is on sale in most places ($2k), I think they're up to a 9.0 for 2018 now ($5k +)

Yeah, but that has the Yamaha motor. I’m partial to the Bosch. That is a great value though.

I'm always curious why people prefer Bosch over Yamaha, considering imho it's the Yamaha that's butter smooth and Bosch is a lot more jerky and uneven. Not to mention, impossible to pedal without battery power.

Jerky and uneven? I’d never use that to describe Bosch, never experienced that. . If I wanted to pedal without battery power, I would have continued to ride my Giant traditional bike and saved thousands of dollars.
