I live/travel in a sprinter van and my primary electrical source is a 12v 500ah lithium battery (charged via solar, battery to battery, or from shore power). Although well equipped with a Victron Multiplus 2000w 12v inverter charger, I would prefer to avoid the losses associated with charging my Bosch 36v 500w batteries from DC to AC and then back to DC again (every amp matters). With more and more overlanders relying on Ebikes for day to day activities, has the industry come up with a DC to DC solution? I do appreciate your time I will attach a few pics just because any thread is better with pictures. Pic 1 Going to loose about 20 percent inverting DC to AC to DC. Pic 2 12.8v 500ah house battery. Pic 3 laptop Dc to DC charging. Simple solution.
