I have own my como 4.0 for over 2 months now, I have had this problem happen to me 2 different times while ridding the bike. I push the battery power button on and start out in the ECO mode. I had some wording come up on the monitor screen. I don't remember what it said. So I shut down the main power and turn it back on. The screen was normal and I was in the ECO mode. Still no power. So I decided to do a short ride with out the power. After a mile the power assist came on. I thought this was a little strange. Maybe a one time glitch. It happen again a month later. I started out with the bike in the ECO mode. I thought my legs were really tired from ridding from the day before. No that was not the case, no power again. Everything looked ok on the screen showing 1 bar for the ECO mode. After a while the power was back on. Has anyone ever experienced this before or should I take the bike in to have it checked.

Gotta be a loose connection somewhere that reconnects when warm or jiggled. Another poster had a similar problem
internal to the battery. That would be my best guess. Get it checked & notify the company that your want another battery.

So if I take the bike back to the shop are they able to test it or will I be waisting my time

Yes. The electronic gremlins are unpredictable.

My wife's Vado had a similar issue. Had to take it in a couple of times until they finally reproduced the problem. Specialized replaced the TCD and battery under warranty.

Thanks I am going to keep ridding and give it some time. I have put a lot of miles on it so far, will see if it happens again, I agree on those gremlins

It was the power cord on my Turbo Levo.
