Does anyone have experience in changing out the mechanical this brakes on the Pace350 for hydraulic brakes. I checked with Aventon and they have hydraulic brakes for thePace500 which are compatible with the Pace350. They are listed at $99 each front and rear brakes. if someone knows of an off brand that is compatible with the Pace 350 system let me know as well.

Thanks for that @Timpo. @Syscokid, I meant to tag you in the Magura mt5e recommendation but Timpo's kindly provided you a link.
Shimano would be a good option as well (although, I've not seen 2pin higu style shimano brakes before. Usually 3pin).

Still, theirs options out there👍🏿

Magura brakes have always had a tendency to be slightly tricky to bleed. There are tutorial videos on how to do it. But generally (and like most things), you get better at it the more you have to do it.

My only recommendations would be,
1. Use one type of mineral oil (Magura Royal blood or Shimano mineral oil). If using Shimano oil, flush out the royal blood oil completely.
2. Be careful not to introduce any air into the system. With Shimano brakes, there are hacks you can use to let the air escape. Whereas with Magura, it's a bit more tricky. Basically, you need to repeat the bleed process.
Other than that, threading through the brake hose and installing the banjo is pretty much straightforward. Just make sure you have the correct tools for the job. I.e. t25, not your standard m4 allen key.

If push comes to shove, get your LBS to do it (and save the agro) 👍🏿

So look for brake calibers that say "line Pulling Hydraulic Disc Brake" They take cable input and convert to hydraulic brakes. So you only need to change the calipers and don't need to touch the levers. I've used them and they work well.
