I own a 2014 Gio H2 Volt, folding ebike. It has 20” wheels, a 250W motor, mechanical disk brakes up front and a front shock suspension. Built in China. The digital display tops out at 32km/hr but of course with pedaling it will go faster. I have received so much positive attention over the years because of this bike, so many people are interested in it. Then I have to tell them it’s not available anymore. The business that sold me the bike told me they bought out all the stock when Gio went under, dozens of units if I recall correctly, I’ve never seen another one around.
This ebike is always a blast to ride, it’s quick off the mark although it seems to be less so now; it has very responsive steering because of the narrow handlebars; Calgary has crappy pavement on most streets so I wish it had a seat post suspension but it doesn’t appear that the seat stay is long enough.
I think I will buy a RAD Power bike next year, they seem so reasonably priced even in Canada.
I have watched many of Court’s EBR YouTube videos, they are very informative.
