Not sure if some eBike displays have this function, but I have not seen Court mention it in any of his reviews that I have seen. For $60 CDN...$45 US this device has no magnets & attaches to the crank arm and connects wirelessly to your phone and can be used with Strava and other ride apps. Think I might pick one up as I often wonder what my cadence is when riding.

I duck taped my GPS to my handle bar, the only thing it does not tell me is you are going waaaay to fast on a road full of potholes
Not sure if i would invest money in something your only going to use a few times, seems like something Lance would use, without the doping
As you can tell i have no idea what cadence is, my world is all about keep it simple, it has worked to this point.
Just another gadget erider, save your money, i fell into that pit many times.

Cadence is simply the rotation of the crank arms or front sprocket measured in RPM while pedalling

I wear a watch with a sweep second hand. Multiply # of crank revolutions in 10 seconds by six to get RPM. Don't know your tables, your brain is working, there is still time to learn.
Works on mileposts on the road in your car too. 70 mph is 52 seconds per mile. I was on a regional line 1957 GM bus that did a mile in 42 in central Texas!
