I'm purchasing a Hiebike urban SRX with a 53 cm frame size. I am 5 foot eight with a 30 inch inseam and was wondering if that bike is the correct size.

That sounds right. I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam and I fit that bike well.

Yes. That would work well.
The fork is under recall and you may want to make sure it's replaced.

Last word I heard was no new parts in the U.S. yet. My dealer claimed they didn't know about the recall when I bought one 2 weeks after the recall came out. They let me return it for a Trekking. I actually like the ride better with the front suspension fork. The urban is a pretty harsh ride for this aging body!
