Many Yamaha motorcycle and quad shops have ebikes. I am convinced buying from a LBS is the way to go ( after reading the horror stories here). Would you have concerns about buying from a Power Sports Shop?

My wife bought her Yamaha from a power sports store and I bought mine from a bike shop. In the case of my wife’s bike, I had to go through the entire bike and re-adjust the brakes and derailleurs, (the rear brake was rubbing and the shifting was off). My bike was set up fine, (I still went over it).
Every shop is different, so your experience may be different. I wouldn’t expect that the power sport shop would have a dedicated bicycle mechanic, so I would expect the bike shop to be more skilled at working on bicycles.
