Bulls Twenty8 E45 or Raleigh Redux ie? Or something else?

Hello, everyone. I'm currently searching for a year round ebike to use for a 15 mile one way commute. I will commute from downtown Seattle to the Redmond area and back. Currently, I've identified the Bulls Twnety8 E45 and the Raleigh Redux ie as potential buys. They both seem to be great for my type of commute, comfortable, class 3, and look somewhat nondescript. They're both a little pricey, though, particularly the Bulls.

On a separate note: Where do I buy the Bulls? The Raleigh seems obtainable but I can't find a Bulls vendor in the US.

I'm really hoping to spend as little as possible but still get something that keeps me really happy. It would be terrible to spend all this money and then later wish for something else. Ideally, I'm trying to hit the sweet spot of price and best bike for my situation.

I'm also very open to other suggestions. I am totally uninterested in building my own bike. Thanks for your help!

I think the ebike store on Greenwood and also Gregg's Greenlake Cycles carries Bulls. However, I bought a Bh Atom Diamond Wave Pro from Sesttle Ebike in Pioneer Square and I LOVE IT. Torque! Smooth! Quiet! A complete gamechanger for me. It is a class 1, but I haven't felt the need for going faster than I can with it. If you feel you must have Class 3, consider the Giant Quick e +, a really good value, also available at Seattle Ebike in Pioneer Square.

Interesting! How did you end up picking the Atom? What's your commute?

Thanks for the store recommendations. How's their service?

I tried 8 or 9 different bikes, and the Atom felt best to me. The Brose motor is rated at 90Nm of torque and is so quiet and smooth. I live on a big hill which has discouraged me from riding a bike for 20 years, so for me it's all about getting up this dang hill. I'm 61, and was riding up this hill within 3 days of taking this bike home. I love this bike!! But then, as you will no doubt see the more you read people's comments on every brand and model of ebike, everyone loves the one they own.

It has a 600 watt hour battery. It comes with a 5 year guarantee. The stem is adjustable, so I can set the handlebars exactly where I like for a comfortable ride. The chain glider completely covers the chain, so I don't have to worry about grease on my pants leg or having the hem chewed. I just hop on. It comes with lights, fenders, rack and chain glider, so you are all set to go. Even so, if I had preferred the ride of stripped down model, it would only have cost $200 or so to add those items, so they weren't a dealbreaker - - it's just nice when you are buying a new bike to have it already set up.

Everybody at Seattle Ebike was great. Very laidback and Seattle ?. They let me try any bike, just go out on my own and take as much time as I needed to evaluate the ride. And Alex cut me a good deal. So yes, I highly recommend them.
