Hello all , ok freaking love love love ebikes! Am I in? Seriously tho I do have a tech question , 48v 1500w voilamart rear hub conversion kit , internal controller ,sw-900 LCD display . I don't want to use the supplied brake handles/ kill switches. Can I unhook wiring to those levers and substitute a rocker , toggle, or horn type switch to preform the same function? Oh yeah sorry my name is Robert and thank you for welcoming me to your forum

.....update: today 1/20/2020 I went ahead and did the mechanical portion of the first ebike build. Trek 3700 3 series, yeah it's aluminum but Installed a torque arm on each side, hope it's enough? If not I will get a steel frame, full suspension. But it's coming out pretty good I started from scratch went through the entire bike brackets, bearings, stems, gears, derailleur/s, chain.... Painted charcoal grey. I did fire up the battery and turned on the sw-900 I have an error code 10 . Connections maybe , gotta go through it tomorrow.stay tuned ,. Any advise is greatly appreciated thanks stibbs
