Bosch Standard Charger BCS210 Normally Gets Hot??

I just realized that the outside case of my Bosch Standard Charger BCS210 plugged into my Allant+ 7S ebike gets hot to the touch (104.3F degrees with my digital meat thermometer held against the outside case) as it charges my bike's battery. The ambient temperature in the garage where I usually charge my ebike with the battery in the down tube is usually between ~60 and ~80 degrees. If the garage temperature gets lower or higher, I then charge the battery in my home. But I never noticed the battery charger's hot temperature until now.

The technician at Bosch's Tech Support told me that it's normal for the case to feel warm, but he had no official technical data as to how hot the case eventually become as it charges. The owner's manual doesn't have any information about the charger's operating temperature either. So, I wonder if anyone on the forum has had first hand experiences regarding this.

Has anyone else experienced a hot Bosch charger while it charges? Should I be concerned?

Thank you!

I think pretty warm to the touch is normal. My Bosch 4 amp charger does get fairly warm when charging our two batteries after a ride, tho I don’t have a digital meat thermometer!🤓

Yes, I have noticed my charger to get quite warm, but I consider it normal for any electric transformer to get warm - especially when it is pumping as many electrons as these chargers do.
