Blinking Daytime Light when using lock mode on ST-2

When I attempt to use the lock mode on my ST-2, the daytime running light continues to blink about every 3 -4 seconds or so and seems not to stop doing so until I either remove and reinstall the battery or unlock the bike, then simply turn it off without using the lock mode. Any thoughts on the matter?

Wait and see... it will stop after 10 minutes

Thank you Marcel...doesn't make a lot of sense to me for it to continue to blink in terms of using battery life as well as the led's, but perhaps there is a reason for it?? And it causes me to wonder why it does not occur when simply using the "off" switch from the same screen

The blinking tells you that the bike is secured. In the off position there is no blinking sign because it isn't secured.

ok...that makes a little bit more sense to me...thank you again Marcel. Why this information does not seem to appear in the ST-2 Manual seems a bit perplexing to me...glad this forum is available to obtain this type of info...
