Best ebike for heavy riders

Hi court, how's it going?
I just wanted to ask for options, I want to get an ebike for commute and for exercise but I need the throttle for going to work without breaking a sweat.
The important part is that I'm 300 pounds right now and I wanted to have some options to decide the best for me.
Thank you so much!!

I'm not Court, but just to let you know the Specialized Como/Vadomebikes do have a 300lb rider+cargo rating. Cargo bikes go as high as 400lbs.

Welcome to EBR... take a look at the EBR list of Best Electric Cargo Bikes of 2020

Electric cargo bikes encourage you to do things and go places you could not before. Take the people you love and stuff you need wherever your heart desires! Well, as long as there’s a road or path ;) Doing more is what electric cargo bikes are all about; the electric assist smooths hills and shrinks distance while carrying more. They are a healthy, affordable, and versatile alternative to automobiles. Perfect for hauling kids and all the stuff that goes with them, they are also great for carrying sports equipment and running errands. Cargo ebikes come in many shapes and sizes. Longtails are the original flavor!

Basically, they offer a long rear section of frame with sturdy built-in top rack and running boards that allows cargo, child seats, and adult passengers to be loaded up. Box bikes, also called long johns or bakfiets (Netherlands language there), are an even longer variation of cargo bike configured with a big box upfront and a smaller front wheel connected by a linkage. Many companies are experimenting with midtail cargo ebikes (shorter than longtail but longer than a city bike), fat tire models, and even three-wheeled versions called cargo trikes or rickshaws which can carry loads in the front or back. This is a pretty awesome category! For more details, including why we chose each model, check out our full list of best electric cargo bikes.

What about the lightest bikes for heavy riders?

I mean, you are already pushing around more weight than others... need to save somewhere (although a lighter bike is contrary to being able to handle the extra weight :) ).

If you don't want a cargo bike, check out the Pedego Interceptor, City Commuter and Boomerang models, All have a 400# weight limit if you get the mag wheel option.

I'm 315 and have been riding a Rad City for the last 3 seasons now, with no weight related issues (or any others really). Noteworthy is that the bike is rated for 275lbs, and the fact I've modified it with a new motor that's just about twice the amount of power (torque) it came with originally.

To add to your list of bikes with advertised high capacities, the Evola Aurora Ltd. (a pretty deluxe bike) carries a 350lb weight limit. They say if you need more than that to call them....

if your short go for an Ariel Rider D-Class, it has the power you need, with 2 Hub motors plus a throttle!
the average 500/750watt hub motor is to weak for that much weight imho, unless you plan to never carry any baggage or go up hills.
European mid drives like Bosch wont have the throttle you need and generally lack the power you need.
if you are a taller rider there are some MIC middrive Bikes powered by the Bafang Ultra or BBSHD that have the power you need plus a throttle like Biktrix Juggernaut! just keep in mind these bikes are mid drives and they are only as strong as a regular old Bike chain, with a powerful motor like this and a heavy rider you would just need to be a little mindful of chain tension.
D-Class is still on sale for $2099 at least for a few more hours!
