Bern Brentwood helmet

Is anyone familiar with the original bern Brentwood helmet?
I just purchased one online & was under the impression the liner with visor was removable....mine is not.
Is this normal? If so why is it advertised as removable?

I have a Brentwood, purchased November 2014. Large, matte black. It came with the summer liner and visor. I purchased the winter liner (no visor) with ear covers, sold separately. So yes my liner is removable. I only use mine for winter riding, summer it's too hot. Summer I use a Fox Flux.
