is there no sense on Capitol Hill? destroying the clean air mandates! some goomers thank its a good idea,I say not! I remember back in the sixties( this is a rural location mind you) how the mailbox by the st route would get covered with soot and how towns used to smell,are we going back to that( while your it bring back the lead too! I am surprised some asshole hasn't mentioned that.the easiest argument I can make for emission controls on vehicles is this,go to work in a tunnel and see how long you can last without electric drive and scrubbers on the ice vehicles.I wasn't on the co2 bandwagon till someone pointed that innocuous looking 10K peak was condensed into a span of 10 to the second here lately,viewed that way its terrifying and somebody please inform the Edrive haters of all the advantages of electric drive,as a whole I don't think most true Americans and citizens of the Earth want to die the "black death".

YEs tyhis is Project 2025 in a notsauell deny it cut anythign that can actualy measure it no matter who it iwll hurt or kill. Some christians even hate christ for being woke now.

"I'm all right, Jack" is a British expression used to describe people who act only in their own best interests, even if providing assistance to others would take minimal to no effort on their part.
 
I remember driving through Gary Indiana in the sixties and it seeing the air so thick with yellow pollution you couldn't see 1/2 a block. The water with so much garbage on it you couldn't see the water. Do we want to go back to that, not me.

I work in a industry manufacturing mostly 2-stroke power tools. I work in Environmental Engineering, making sure our products comply with strict emissions standards. We heard about Trump dnow dropping the emission mandates but we, as a company, will not go backwards in manufacturing standards just because someone says we now can. That would be counter-productive to our customers and the environment we pledge to protect. Also, is Trump going to "DOGE" the California CARB board? They (CARB) seems to have their own super powers due to sheer size. I have a feeling lawsuits will soon follow, just like the lack of promised government funding he axed.

I grew up in a community adjacent and south of Gary Indiana. Looking to the north the sky would be red when the wind was coming off Lake Michigan. The steel mill I worked at as a young man would burn high sulfur coal at night to conceal the thick black smoke that billowed from the stacks and switch to gas or oil during the day. Back in the 60’s to early 70’s the pollution in the sky from the south east side of Chicago through Lake County Indiana could be seen for miles. I will never forget how the air tasted and looking at that ugly sky. The chemicals in the air would destroy the paint on automobiles. The industry workers would drive junkers to work which were coined “mill” cars,
