Battery Release knob seems loose - Thoughts?

Hello,

I have been having issues with my Level battery staying solidly in place, it rattles on every bump.

I have been using a fabric tie to hold the battery in its compartment and to stop the rattle it works.

But, the battery knob seems loose to me and its main function is to insert metal shaft into battery to hold it in place.

Check out attached video of switch. Let me know if your bike is similar or ....

My Level's battery release lever is the same as yours, and this did catch my attention a while back. I made sure the outer fasteners were secure - which they were - and after inspecting as well as I could inside, I determined that this is the way this release lever is designed - loose and wiggly. My battery is secure however, and fits snugly into the bay. I recall other posts here related to loose batteries flopping around and creating momentary shutdowns while riding. You may want to record a video of your battery moving around and share it with Avenoton support. If still under warranty, you will likely be shipped a replacement battery.
