Battery Connector

Want to buy an x-class but am worried about support for it in 3-5 years. If the battery connector to the controller is a standard one then I could find the battery on Amazon or eBay if anything ever happened to Ariel Rider. But if it is proprietary like RAD Power Bikes then it would be very difficult to find a replacement battery in the future. So many e-bike companies stop selling products and accessories for their bikes. Anyone with an x-class know if the battery connector to the controller is standard such as this one?

I, too, am looking into this/your question. I just emailed Ariel, but their answer was non- commital (naturally). If someone can post a photo of the connector section of the 52v battery then I'll be able decide its compatibility.
Is the 52v/18ah battery used on the X Class 52V ebike the same as a Reention Dorado ebike battery as far as the "mount onto bike frame holder" is concerned? I know that the charger connection is different, but that is OK since the 52v "X" comes with a dedicated charger. I am asking this question because I already own four Reention Dorado 48v batteries and hope to be able to use them on this ebike, too. They are all the "long" battery and are either 16ah (three) or 14.5ah (one). The battery-alone length is 458mm/460mm (18 inches).
By the way, this ebike seems to be an absolutely awesome toy..
