This article is a bit fluffy. Not sure how the Sinch is that different from other folding bikes (like Sondors') other than maybe in-store support.

Agreed... I think the author was enamored with the integrated battery and smooth welds.

I like the real world range estimates for a given speed and weight. YMMV.

I like electrek for a quick overview but it is not comprehensive. I agree that he really went overboard on the weld guality. I have a local bike shop who now sells Aventon pretty much to the exclusion of his other brands. The Aventons sell so quickly that they are the only bikes in the shop for test rides. He does not stock the Sinch because it does not sell that well. If a buyer wants the Sinch you have to buy it and they will order it. My issue with the Sinch is the lack of throttle from a standstill a fact that Tyson and Mica both mentioned this. Maybe this is not an issue if the rider shifts all the way down prior to stopping.

He sells primarily the 350 and 500 models both high step and low step. He also stocks the Level but not as plentiful as the other models. He doesn't really stock the Sinch because folders do not sell well.

Wow! I would be surprised if that hits the US market as the "E-Trek". Also I don't think it is the first foldable with dual suspension.
