Changes in College Park, MD posted for another user but anyone is free to look or comment!
This is all that's left -- the defaced sign at the entrance of 94th Aero. Maryland National Capital Park and Planning is using the site as a storage depot and has a chain link fence up. They razed the building. I saw the red wheels for the cannon (I think --it was by the door) and a wheeled trailer for one of the planes.
Next up, here's the Operations building at the airport. The brick was the original building -- the rest was added on recently, I think.
Outside the museum ... celebrating 100 years of air mail. Learned something new today: the US Postal Dept initiated air mail in 1918 in College Park.
