Assembled my 700 but haven’t rode it yet.

So I’m talking my right royal time to assemble my 700 which I recently received.
All seems well so far bearing in mind I haven’t rode it yet, but when inspecting front brake pad rub against the rotor I noticed the front wheel appears to wobble when I spin it. I’ve done some reading and it might be lose spokes. Although they “seem fine “.
Are there any other areas that I should check that may cause this ?

tire wobble wont affect brake rubbing. Align your pads and make sure the disk is not slightly warped. Tons of videos on Youtube. The easy way to align the pads is loosening the calipers, squeeze the brake lever and tighten the calipers while still holding the lever. For the wobble, ride the bike for a while and if you still have noticeable wobble, you may need to adjust some spokes. You should check them anyways for looseness. Again, check YouTube.

Thanks for the explanation. I tried the method to loosen the caliper and then hold onto front brake and retighten caliper ( a few times ) whilst keeping brake pedal engaged. Didn't work. Im wondering if Im being too pedantic, Its an even rub noise, general resistance all round it sounds like.

Managed to sort it out cheers. Slightly adjusted top and bottom of caliper outwards by loosening the hex bolts then re torque.

there are gauges that you can insert when you do the alignment to create a larger space (gap) between the pads and disk.
