That's neat Fitz! I can't believe I'm saying this but I kind of wish they would have mentioned what kind of bike insurance programs Progressive offers? I always see their commercials about motorcycles and stuff.

Did some digging and aside from our earlier conversations on insuring bicycles and electric bikes it looks like Progressive doesn't have a specific product for us. Though they do offer Segway insurance so maybe ebikes fit under that category?

I specifically asked their phone rep about electric bicycle insurance and she said she hadn't ever heard of that kind of coverage. I'll be starting up a velosurance policy later today.

Nice, I just spoke with Dave from Velosurance and invited him to respond to our other post about electric bike insurance and clarify how the product works etc. Seemed like a nice guy, maybe eventually Progressive will hop on board. I wonder how and if they offer this kind of thing in other countries outside the US?
