Hello, I'm new to this forum and electric bikes. I saw this bicycle, X-treme 300sla bike for sale for $500. I was wondering if anyone knew if this bike would be worth it until I can afford a better quality bike down the road. Also I'm planning in riding during the winter to work, located in Philly, so there's a good chance of snow and rain, but I'm only commuting 7 miles, and I weigh 135. Any advice, input, and help is greatly appreciated.

Don't bother... If you want an inexpensive ebike try something like this http://philadelphia.craigslist.org

Yup, forget about that SLA stuff. A huge pain the rear to maintain it.
