Alternatives to basket?

Hey I am wondering what a good alternative to having a basket/bag hanging off the back of the bike is. I just don't like the way it looks and because I will be riding the bike on mountain bike trails I am worried about it staying on the back. What I would like to know is if there is an alternative where I can place my battery which is only 195*95*65mm and my controller which is a similar size.

It's a small battery. Might fit in that pack in the link.

You could get a small handlebar bag, for the other piece.

Some people use backpacks. Use some kind of breakaway connector.

You can find empty Dolphin cases, that go on the water bottle mounts. See what you could put inside the case.
