My 2019 Vado 4.0 was stolen a few months ago. I had the battery removed and charging at the time it rode off. Since I intended to replace the bike, I held onto the battery thinking, "I'll have a spare!" I've since replaced the bike with a new Vado SL, though, so I need to sell the battery.
Specs:
- Specialized U1-500, On/Off button, state of charge display, 500Wh
- LIKE NEW CONDITION--NO ISSUES
- Will fit ANY Como or Vado (non SL) models.
- Cover color is "Carbon," but other colors are available separately to match your bike. See your bike store.
- I had approximately 650 miles on the bike when stolen, so this battery has fewer than 20 charge cycles on it, by my estimate, and still showed 100% health on the Mission Control app when I last checked.
- When possible, I took great care to fully discharge the battery for each cycle, because I hoped to prolong its life.
- Never saw rain.
- Retail new is around $900 without the charger.
- Asking $450 obo for both
Since I'm not sure about legality or liability in shipping, I'll keep this to a Bay Area (local pickup only) listing, please. Happy to meet you half way to deliver, if you like...I could stand to get out of the house ;-)
