Sometimes I get these alerts from a website called Instructables. It seems someone was highly focused on fetching his Starbucks coffee, so he built a dedicated eBike just for that. It's an interesting story w/ pics. He obviously had never done anything like this before, and while some of it made perfect sense (except the part about building a bike with a 17AH battery for a 1 mile coffee run in the first place), others areas, like the time and effort he lavished on making a kickstand, and coming up with the idea to rivet the metal covers that hide the battery/control case, are pretty out there.
The bike do look good though. I would expect nothing less from someone that goes to Starbucks every day. He probably proudly parks it right next to the Caddy at home, assuming he didn't build a totally rad custom shed for it out of aged, high end, redwood planks. With glued, pegged and dovetailed joints of course.
