Hi from Hoosierland -- alternately called, I'm told, north Mississippi.

As I near retirement age, I'm catching my body trying to beat me there -- too many things (joints, mostly) think they're in a race to old age!

As a longtime computer/utility/trail rider, I'm unwilling to forsake 2 wheels...so I have an ebike on the drawing board. Frame, most of the parts, are chosen. Planning a one-of-a-kind ride!

I've been building mass-market crap for 20 years, while indulging myself with the good stuff. My steadfast steed of 13 years, a 20th Anniversary Jamis Dakar XLT, is nearing full retirement itself. I'll fill the gap with a sturdy hardtail, but my electric dreamboat will come together.

I like what I've seen here so far -- thanks for being here!

Welcome to the site.
I'm from south central, about 2 miles from the Ohio River bridge to Louisville.
As far as N. Mississippi, read about the copperheads in the Civil War. (The War Between the States in the south). Very active just west of here.
I ride a lot more age 69 than I did when I was working.

Welcome. Wife and I have been hoping to get down there to spend a weekend on the Cardinal Greenway (we're in MI). Obviously have to wait awhile longer now. Any experience riding the Greenway?
