625 Watt Bosch Power Tube compatibility

does anyone know if the 625 Watt Bosch Power tube can be used in place of the 500 Watt? Is that a good way to increase range on the Haibike, or are they physically different than the 500 Watt And therefore not interchangeable?

My understanding is that the 625 is longer than the 500 so no, it very likely cannot be used in a bike set up to use the 500.

They are not interchangeable as the 627 watt hour power tube is 70mm longer. I guess, in theory, one could drop a 500 watt unit in an enclosure made for the 625 but the battery needs to be held securely in place at the bottom where the electrical connecting tabs insert and make contact with the inner terminals of the battery. It it rattled and bounced during the ride, there would be intermittent disconnects.
