Longevity, had the 12 speed on the vado sl5, chain would only last about 600 Miles and the cassette only about 1200, the linkglide chain last around 1500 Miles and the cassette over 8000 miles on the vado sl5

Wouldn't it be wiser to ride the current drivetrain until it gets worn and only then replace the drivetrain?
In my experience the non-Link Glide chain on a Vado SL lasts for at least 1,000 miles. The Deore XT cassette is fully serviceable, so only individual sprockets need to be replaced when worn (not the entire cassette).

Vado 5.0 sl eq has about 15,600 miles on it
Creo sl 2 comp has over 6300 miles, just upload a pic on that forum
