Been reading up on e-bikes for an upcoming company move with a new 15 mile commute that I may have to do for awhile. I luckily found a 2013 Ohm Urban XU700 locally for $1750. Not sold on the it's looks, but for a 350W Bionx equipped e-bike with everything needed for commuting for $1750 before tax I can live with it. It comes in two sizes 18.5" & 20". I did a short 15-20min test ride on each & the 20" felt more comfortable with reach but I might have had to slide a little forward on the seat. The 18.5 felt a uncomfortable at the handlebars, but it may have been me not use to the slightly more swept back handlebar style & it might not have been set up optimally but was the bike I test rode first. Just curious would anyone here go for the 20" at 5'7" 30" inseam? My arm span is maybe 2" longer then height.

I have been riding a 20" Stromer ST1 platinum all day today and at 6'0 with 33 inseam, I find it comfortable.

If I were you, I would go for 18.5.

Yea I decided on the 18.5 & got it Monday. It really is like Red Bull giving your legs wings. Still have to dial in the fit, but it feels nice save for the extra weight when you have to lift it. Looking forward to seeing how much it'll improve my time for a 15'ish mile commute until I move closer to work. Already rode out there once & it took me 1hr 20min. If the e-bike can make that about 50min it'll be great.

Congrats and you made the right choice on frame size. Looks like there's plenty of adjustments on the handlebars and seat to get it right... You might consider a different saddle after a month.. And those brakes are supposedly very good...

I own many bikes, including one Stromer, and the average trip speed is only around 17 mph...So your trip should get knocked down to around an hour, with no sweat ;)
