Yamaha Civante Motor

Other Civante owners - how many miles do you have on your bike and did you have any motor issues??
Now gone thru my second motor, reached 12,500 miles on first that was replaced under warranty.
Second motor wore out after another 8,500 miles.
Dealer I purchased ebike from is no longer an authorized dealer and has no access to parts system, so I purchased a replacement motor from an authorized parts dealer and replaced it myself.
I would like to locate a shop that could repair the worn out motor and make it functional again.
I do at least 9,000 miles a year and don't want to have to purchase another new motor if I could get them repaired instead.
I am able to purchase any of the parts inside the motor, just wouldn't know what is bad and needs replacing

Maybe give these guys a call...

Was the motor out of warranty or if the 2nd one died (if first replaced by yamaha, does that mean the 2nd one did not come with a warranty from yamaha?
Last, if a dealer one buys the bike from closes can we simply go to a different dealer for warranty work (one would hope/think)?

Yamaha warranty only covers first replacement none afterwards. I purchased replacement motor and installed myself. I finally had contact with Yamaha dealer service manager and investigating if motor could be evaluated as to failure and cost to repair it. Yamaha is deeply discounting their ebikes due to excess inventory. I could purchaase a third Civante for only $1600. Very tempting. I might be able to repair motor. Internal motor is a 1 piece assemby to replace. Nmight order and see if it fixes it.
