let’s say I set a tuning preset to 35 power and 35 ease. And as an option I leave the power at 35 but change the ease to 70. Will I have more battery usage as I increase ease.

it depends how hard you’re pedaling.

if at 30/30 you were pedaling hard enough to hit the power limit of 30% (90w power draw), then changing ease to 70 will make no difference at all since the power was already maxed out. but if you weren’t pedaling hard enough to hit the 30% max power, then increasing ease will increase power and battery usage.

Thanks for the clarification. For me I’ll probably look at increasing the ease only when I’ve also increased the power.
