PAS Switch not working correctly on Mokwheel Mesa Plus ST

I have a new Mokwheel Mesa Plus St bike. The switch on the bars for changing PAS settings dosen't run consistant? One time it may work right,the next time you may have to press the button several times to get it to change. Some times it won't change settings at all,and you have to power down the bike and re start it to get it to change?
