2025 UCI World Championships

The championships are in Rwanda this year. Men's elite road racing final is this Saturday Sunday. Pogacar's there to defend his road racing title.

No US streaming options to my knowledge. FloBikes seems to have cornered video rights but they're putting some free coverage on YouTube.

Evenepoel absolutely crushed the men's elite TT a few days ago, with Pogacar a distant 4th some 2.5 min behind. Quite the media circus ever since.

Lots of intertesting footage of Kigali in the video above. Some pretty impressive modern architecture. Annoying announcers, but it watches well with the audio off most of the time.

Congrats to Ben Healy on a superb Bronze medal in Rwanda. Actually that's really like winning gold, the first across the line of the mere humans as he was beaten by Pog and Remco. Pog flying away early, Remco, missing the move but fighting back destroying group after group, nobody able to hang on to his wheel, to claim Silver.

That's 2 doubles for Pog; TdF 24 & 25, world champ 24 & 25, never been done before. Extraordinary. Consolation for Remco winning TT (and passing Pog in process) to go with his Silver.

For Healy - what a year.
