2018 colt - frame water resistance?

i have been biking a lot more in inclement weather lately and have been wondering about all of this salt and water splashing at the wire exit right above the bottom bracket - is there additional sealing to keep water out of the frame or does the water just end up pooling in the bottom bracket unless you throw a bunch of silicone at it?

I had a problem with pooled water ruining my torque sensor. The dealer replaced it and drilled two holes in the bottom of the frame for drainage. I also applied silicone to the areas where the wiring enters inside the frame. Have not had any problems since
