2019 marks Ten year anniversary and on this occasion, the founder talks about the company and its history.

It was in autonum 2009, as I visit the famous farm house to obtain my Stromer. While waiting, I found the business plan made for the investors to ask them for venture capital. The booklet contains the visions, options, risks and threats. I've read it carefully - and now, 10 year later, it's a pleasure for me to look back.

As mentioned by Thömus, the launch of the ST2 was the major milestone for the company (and the e-bike world):

At this time - 2009 - I didn't know, that Ernst Thomke will give the first venture capital. Our photographer has the luck to picture him at the ST2 launch event in 2014:

I've installed the FOX 100/32 RL because the rigid aluminum fork was too hard to ride on bad ground. Furthermore, I've installed a 2'200 lumen headlight (connected to the Stromer battery), because I ride often on dark forest roads. Then, I bought an Abus Bordo Granit, because the S55 Stromer is precious.

Since 2'000km, I'm testing the ST5 - and did not found anything I should add...
